Brighton Rock e-liquids was our very first full project for Vape UK. The brief gave us free reign to create a brand from scratch. The project was to bring a new product range to market and included naming, branding design, packaging, website and point of sale. We obviously jumped at the opportunity to get involved in something so immersive and creative.
The initial range contained 12 unique flavours, from cool mints to classic bakes, with everything in-between. With no umbrella theme to the flavours, we could approach the naming of the brand from a different angle. Vape UK started life as Vape Shop Brighton, so we brainstormed ideas with a Brighton theme. And so, Brighton Rock was born.
Having the whole of Brighton to work with meant we could be clever and creative with the flavour names and branding design. It also allowed us to create an entire ‘world’ for these flavours to live within. Each individual flavour illustration became part of a landscape that their customers would immediately recognise. This landscape also formed the basis for the website and point of sale within the shop.
It was important for the packaging to emulate the vintage branding design, so we chose long slender tubes that would house three individual bottles of eLiquid. Combined with the label design, each product looks just like a stick of Brighton Rock.
The range has proved to be incredibly successful. The branding design is highly impactful and stands out on the shelf from the myriad other eLiquid brands that they stock. As market trends in the vaping world change, we are constantly evolving the Brighton Rock world and introducing new flavours into the landscape.
Vape UK started out as Brighton’s local specialist vape shop, but have quickly grown to be one of the UK’s leading online vaping outlets. Their commitment to quality products led them to the decision to manufacturer their own premium eliquids.
Brighton Rock is just one of the excellent, popular ranges that they have produced. We are proud to be their agency of choice for all of their design, branding, content writing and marketing requirements.
